Set among rolling hills and estate vines in the Yakima Valley, Whitman Hill Winery is a place to slow down, take in the view, and enjoy estate-grown wines where they are made. The tasting room opens onto expansive lawns, a calming water feature, and vineyard vistas in every direction. On warm days, guests may relax on the patio or settle into seating areas nestled throughout the landscaping. In cooler months, the double-sided fireplace, fire tables, patio heaters, and cozy blankets keep things comfortable inside and out.

A member of our wine experience team will guide you through a curated selection of current-release wines while sharing the story of the estate, our approach to farming and winemaking, and how each wine fits within the portfolio. This is an ideal starting point for first-time visitors and club members alike.


Between the Vines: Estate Vineyard Tour & VIP Tasting
For guests who want to go deeper into the vineyard, the Between the Vines Tour & Tasting is an intimate experience for up to four guests. The visit begins with a guided UTV tour through Whitman Hill Estate Vineyard, with stops to explore how the site, climate, and farming practices shape the wines. You will then return to the winery for a seated VIP tasting of our handcrafted wines in a dedicated space, with additional time for questions and conversation.

Can I bring a picnic?
While we do not allow food to be brought in, we do offer a nice selection of light bites.
Do you have food available onsite?
Yes! We offer a revolving menu of charcuterie and small bites for you to purchase during your visit.
Can I bring my infant or child?
Yes, well mannered children are always welcome, and ask that they not interfere with the enjoyment of other guests.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, well mannered dogs on leash are welcome, as long as they don’t interfere with the enjoyment of other guests.
What is your large group policy?
Please call for groups over eight so we can insure proper staffing to take care of your group.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommend to give you the best experience possible.
How long does a typical tasting experience last?
We hope you plan to spend some time with us. We offer seated tastings that typically last 60 – 90 minutes.
Where are you located, and how do I get there?
Our estate tasting room is located at 2911 Roza Drive Zillah, WA 98953, and easily accessible by paved State and county roads.
Is there parking and paved roads to the winery?
Yes, we have a paved driveway with ample parking.
Are there other wineries or attractions nearby?
Zillah is a great area to visit. There are several estate wineries within a couple of miles of us. Take a leisurely drive among the vineyards and orchards.
Do you allow limos or tour buses?
We have ample overflow parking that can accommodate oversized vehicles such as buses and limos. Please call ahead to reserve space.
Can I share a tasting or flight?
We understand that a small taste may be all you want, so sharing is aloud. However, after the first taste you might change your mind and not want to share!
Are tasting fees waived with wine purchase or club signup?
Yes, each tasting fee is waived with a $45 dollar purchase, or when signing up for our wine Collective.
Do you have outdoor seating or picnic areas?
The grounds are enchanting with many different outdoor seating options.
Do you ship wine to my state?
Due to State laws, we are unable to ship to the following States: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Maine, Rhode Island, and Utah.
Do you offer vineyard tours or production tours?
Yes! We offer a Between the Vines Estate ATV tour and tasting, and a Between the Vines walking tour. Reservations required.

Are you open year-round?
Yes, we are open year around, but hours may vary around the holidays.
What is your cancellation policy for reservations?
Cancel online up to 12 hours before your reservation. Please call for cancellation less than 12 hours before reservation.
Is your tasting room wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our tasting room and restrooms are ADA compliant.
Are the tastings indoors or out?
We offer seated tasting both inside the main tasting room, or outside at the location of your choice.
What is the tasting room ambience like? / Vineyard views?
Our tasting room is set on beautiful grounds offering comfortable elegance in a country setting with vineyard views.
Do you have onsite lodging or recommended local accommodations?
While we don’t have onsite lodging, we can provide recommendations to hotels, local VRBO, etc.
Do you have recommended local restaurants?
We know the hot spots, and are happy to help plan your itinerary and make recommendations depending on your taste.
