Wyatt Crist
Hospitality Director, and our first hire, is originally a transplant from the Midwest. Wyatt brings a love for good wine and a desire to create a welcoming experience for our guests. A foodie at heart, he loves cooking up new dishes or trying out local restaurants while traveling. When not in the tasting room, he can be found camping/exploring the mountains or sitting on a beach! His favorite wine is Whitman Hill Captain Block.
Sammy Santos
Born and raised in Zillah Washington, Sammy grew up on and around Whitman Hill Vineyard and is the son of our vineyard manager. He joined the tasting room team in 2022, bringing his warm smile, coy sense of humor, and great work ethic that our guests and team members appreciate. Balancing work while finishing his degree at Central Washington University, Sammy enjoys playing competitive tennis, and socializing with friends. Captain Block is his go to favorite wine.
Celina Ruiz
A Yakima Valley native, born and raised, Celina has a deep appreciation for community, culture, and good food. She loves exploring new cuisines, discovering local spots, and embracing experiences that bring people together. As a Wine Experience Ambassador, Celina’s focus and attention to detail provide guests with an exceptional wine experience. Celina’s top wine pick? You guessed it, Captain Block!
Joel Santos
Vineyard Manager, does not communicate all that Joel does for Whitman Hill Winery. With over thirty years of experience, and his deep history with our land, his contributions are invaluable. Curious by nature, he is constantly learning, innovating and focused on producing the highest quality wine grapes. With his people first management style he has built a highly capable vineyard team with an average tenure of 12 – 15 years. Joel is active in the local community and well respected by all. His favorite wine: Captain Block, or … too many to list.
